Global Campaigner Of The Year Finalist

We are incredibly proud to announce that our Founder, Jacynth, has been named a finalist for the GLOBAL 2024 ‘Campaigner of the Year’ award by One Young World - a wonderful surprise having been nominated anonymously by others.

One Young World is a global forum and community dedicated to championing the leaders of tomorrow “to build a fair, sustainable future for all”, committed to encouraging younger individuals “to lead with vision, compassion, integrity, and to leave a positive lasting impact for generations to come”.

And this prestigious award recognises young leaders who are making an extraordinary impact through advocacy, marketing, and communications.

We received some wonderful feedback from One Young World:

“Your work is truly inspiring and it exemplifies the powerful impact that advocacy, marketing, and communications can have in driving positive global change.”

In Jacynth's words:

I am blown away. What an amazing surprise to be a finalist for the global One Young World Campaigner of The Year Award."

Thank you so much those who anonymously nominated me for this incredible honour.

As an ally put it the other day: "the demographics are changing, but the culture is not."

Our population is ageing, and there's still a long way to go before ageism is truly eradicated, ageing is neutralised and normalised, and society respect it for what it is: a privilege, not a punishment.

But the momentum is building. And finally this movement is increasingly being recognised for what it is - a vital and critical one that affects every single one of us, today and tomorrow.

That is incredibly exciting.

Because the future is age-inclusive: socially, culturally and commercially.

One Young World is a global forum and community dedicated to championing the leaders of tomorrow “to build a fair, sustainable future for all”, committed to encouraging younger individuals “to lead with vision, compassion, integrity, and to leave a positive lasting impact for generations to come".

And as one of the 'second billion' who will (hopefully) be reaching my 60s by 2050, I'm not only committed to driving positive change for those who are older today, but also for those who are younger - all through our award-winning, groundbreaking consultancy, campaigns and community at Ageism Is Never In Style®

So I am particularly delighted that our work has been recognised as just as critical for those who are younger today as those who are older - something that is still so overlooked when it comes to age inclusivity and anti-ageism.

And I’m proud to be actively playing a role in encouraging younger generations to become a part of this movement and to shape their future.

With so much still on the horizon for both the rest of 2024 and 2025, we can’t wait to continue driving meaningful change together."
